PRINCIPAL FABRICATION SPECIALIST

The Principal Fabrication Specialist fabricates very complex precision components and/or assemblies using a variety of specialized equipment. The incumbent sets up and operates conventional, CNC, and N/C equipment. The incumbent performs functional testing and inspections to predefined methods and sequences of operations and makes adjustments holding tolerance specifications. This position is familiar with all operations within the department and is an adviser to others. Considerable empowerment and initiative are exercised and required in identifying and resolving problems, establishing process controls, and contributing recommendations.
