PROCESS MANAGER (Chemicals)

Our client, a leader in the production of specialty chemicals from alternative sources, is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to provide leadership to their alcohol production unit. They are seeking a manager with a background in chemical production be responsible for the production of alcohol and alcohol related products, including day-to-day manufacturing activities, maintenance, and project management.

This position is located in California.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

? Supervise the activities of unit operators in the alcohol production unit 

? Supervise the monitoring of the operation of equipment and processes to assure minimal downtime for maintenance and repair.

? Work with production management, as well as marketing, sales and customer service to assure availability of product, and effective supply to customers.

? Maintain production records, including raw material inventories and manufacturing statistics.


REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

 High School, Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 10+ years experience in chemical manufacturing and production 5+ years experience in management or supervision Experience in alcohol or alcohol related chemical production would be helpful.
