PRODUCTION OR MAINTENANCE SHIFT MANAGER - SOUTHWEST OHIO

A leading manufacturer with award winning safety and quality performance has immediate needs for Production and Maintenance Shift Managers for a heavy manufacturing operation located in Southwest Ohio.

 

Shift Manager Duties:

 

Will serve as a front-line production or maintenance supervisor within a heavy manufacturing operation.  Will lead and direct a crew of employees in meeting the safety, quality and unit goals on a rotating shift basis. Will monitor and address crew performance and effectively resolve operational problems that arise during the shift.

 

Requirements:

 

Ideal candidates will have prior supervisory experience in heavy manufacturing. Successful candidates will have a record of effectively managing employees and meeting unit objectives.  Seeking self-motivated professionals who demonstrate strong initiative, sound decision making and effective leadership and interpersonal skills.  Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment and challenging conditions is a requirement.  Experience in a union environment and living in the local area are strong plusses.
