PRODUCTION OPPORTUNITIES!!!

 

We are seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - 2ND SHIFT Responsibilities include:Supervision of production lines and personnel.  Monitors, exceeds, and maintains production standards for efficiencies, material waste and quality.Responsible for executing production schedules.Responsible for tracking and improving downtime and cleanup/changeover processes.Inputs, analyzes and communicates quality control data.Observes and enforces safety, GMP, and allergen programs and attends appropriate training sessions. Must actively participate and lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

 

Experience and education should include:

3 plus years of supervisory experience in a food-manufacturing environment.  High school graduate or equivalent required.  Bachelor of Science/Arts in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.  Good communication skills required; bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred.  Good math, computer and analytical skills.  Some mechanical abilities preferred.

 

We are seeking a MATERIALS REPLENISHMENT BUYER Responsibilities include:Responsible for ensuring sufficient inventory levels of labels, film, bags, tapes, supplies, and services.Participates in negotiation with top suppliers to secure consistent supplies and competitive prices.Coordinates purchasing activities with other facilities and departments to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.Follow up on orders and status to ensure quality and on-time deliveries.Ensures contracts with vendors are consistent with corporate objectives.Develops policies and procedures to make purchasing efficient and develops an annual purchasing plan for the local facility.Coordinates the transfer of all centrally purchased items to the facility.Participates in quarterly inventories for item lines.

 

Experience and education should include:

Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in a business discipline preferred.  3 plus years of experience in purchasing required.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Quality planning skills and ability to work with other departments necessary.  Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications necessary.
