PROJECT MANAGER

Evana Automation Specialists Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries Inc., is a leading supplier of automation assembly equipment. We specialize in motion controls, robotics integration and system architecture. We have designed and built a variety of machines and systems, from special stand-alone work cells to full turnkey manufacturing assembly systems.

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to join our Evana Automation Team in Evansville, Indiana. 

 

The Project Manager must be a multi-tasking, goal oriented individual who can plan and execute complex automation systems.  As part of the Leadership Team you will be instrumental in implementing ?lean? procedures.  Your outstanding communication, technical knowledge, and problem solving skills will be utilized to effectively lead multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be energetic, well organized, team-oriented and have prior mechanical & electrical (automation) experience.  The project Manager must possess the ability to visualize concepts, establish objectives and drive projects to completion.

 

Other responsibilities include:
Providing effective team-based, technical leadership & support for multiple project teams, while operating within strict budget constraints
Proposing designs & production suggestions, which may be based upon unclear or vague parameters
Generating & maintaining project schedules, open issues log, budget spreadsheet and other records relating to project operations
Effectively communicate with other departments and provide updates on project status to senior management
10%-15% offsite travel necessary

Requirements:
BSME, BSEE, BSIE or equivalent
5 or more years of project / manufacturing management experience
MS Office and Project Management applications
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
2- years experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
Previously led 20 to 40 team members.

Certified PMP a pluse, but not required.
