Packaging Equipment Technician / Mechanic - Production Maintenance

Our client, a $4 Billion dollar global company , is seeking skilled, experienced Production Maintenance mechanics / machinists for openings as High Speed Packaging Technicians.  This company made the Fortune 100 list of Best Places to Work, the past 2 years in a row!

 

These technicians are responsible for the adjustment, repair, service, and maintenance of custom built, high speed wrapping machinery.  Observe the operation of the wrapping equipment, and troubleshoot problems to ensure quality packing.  Make adjustments and minor repairs to wrapping machinery as needed with minimal guidance and supervision.  Replace parts when they fail to function properly.  Primary goal is maintain wrapping machinery in working order, so as to promote the highest productivity possible.  This position requires from 3 to 5 years production maintenance experience, preferably on high-speed production equipment.

 

Requirements / Qualifications:

 
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical School Machinist certification preferred, and/or equivalent work experience.
High Degree of mechanical aptitude, millwright experience, and good recordkeeping skills needed
3 - 5 years' experience Required!
Available to work 12 hour, "continental" shift (4 days on, 3 off, etc)
Availability for OverTime also a PLUS.
