Painter, Production Parts

CITY: Baltimore STATE: Maryland COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Works from sketches, written specifications and verbal information from supervisor to select proper type and color of paint and to determine areas of parts to be painted.
Checks surfaces of parts to insure that they have been cleaned and masked for painting. Performs painting of a variety of deliverable production detail parts, sub-assemblies, interiors of assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, slings, vehicles and/or any other contract item deliverable to the customer outside of the Baltimore facility. Performs these operations on the assembly floor or in spray booths as required. Maintains proper thickness of coating as directed by higher graded employee or supervisor.
Performs touch up work in the aircraft and on parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies as indicated above, using spray equipment and/or brush. Makes layouts on assemblies and the interior of the aircraft for location of stencils decalcomania.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Requires over 6 and up to 9 months in identical or related work.
