Paper Sales Consultant-Coating

We have a temporary independent consulting position for an experienced marketing professional having close ties to the paper industry.  This individual will be responsible for developing a marketing/sales base for water and oil repellency coated paper to major end users in the food industry (microwave popcorn, pizza, pet foods, butter and oily equipment manufacturers).  Prior contacts with consumer and pet food industries is necessary as well as experience in developing marketing campaigns for new products.

 

This position has to flexibility to allow the right individual to work from a home office, or in the New York, Bayonne, or Exton, PA areas (within 100 miles of these cities).

 

This will initially be up to a six-month temporary assignment with the potential to be extended for a longer period.

 

Position Requirements:

 

1. In-depth knowledge of the paper-industry.

 

2. Individual needs to have established contacts nationwide with multiple departments such as new product development, marketing, product management, purchasing, etc. at the major fast food organizations. 

 

3. Contacts at pet food manufacturers using coatings for pet food bags.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

This individual will be working with the marketing, technical and sales organizations to introduce new FDA approved, more environmentally acceptable coated paper products.

 

? Must have experience using pull through marketing techniques so that the major fast food industries specify the new coating product to the paper mills.

? Actively participate in helping to develop dynamic presentations to potential end users and paper mills.

? Make team presentations at both customer locations and technical sessions at trade shows.

? Assist in developing both promotional and technical literature, brochures, and CDs.

? Actively participate in the advertising development campaign.

? Participate in trade show events.
