Experienced Pattern Maker to develop sample uniform garments



Superior Uniform Group is one of America's oldest and most respected uniform and image apparel providers.  Our distinguished history began in 1920, and we have evolved into a design and marketer of a wide range of uniforms, image apparel and accessories from aprons to elite business attire.

 

We specialize in managing comprehensive apparel programs and are dedicated to servicing the Healthcare, Hospitality, Restaurant/Food Services, Retail Employee I.D., Governmental/Public Safety, Entertainment, Commercial/Industrial, Transportation, Cleanroom, Corporate Identity and Resortwear markets. 

 

Our corporate headquarters are located in the heart of the Tampa Bay in Seminole, Florida. 

 

The postion is fulltime but an experienced part-time person will be considered.

 

Job responsibilities include:

 

Creates first pattern from sketch or sample

 

Technical ability in both flat pattern and draping

 

Prep patterns for digitizing

 

Assist with the checking of the grading



 

Sewing skills necessary



Measure for Quality Control

 Must be deadline driven and able to work with other pattern personnel using a computer system Position requirements: 5+ years pattern design and development experience required Knowledge of pattern slopers or block patterns Knowledgeof Gerber/Microdynamics system helpful The Company provides an attractive base salary and a benefit plan which features medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), pension plan and office cafeteria.
