About the Opportunity





Help Edmund Industrial Optics be a leader in the industry by acting as the Picker/Shiper who is responsible for duties to assist in achieving company goals of time and line fill by completing shipment prepartation of finished goods orders for domestic and international customers. Work from shipping schedule. job orders, established procedures and direct supervison.



 

Duties:

Locate, retrieve, prepare all finished goods for shipment, check orders for accuracy, insert current stuffers in picked orders, pack order for shipment following guidlines on the collate, accurately record all finshied goods shipped information and all other required reporting using HP and PC based manifest system, maintain and be responsible for all equipment used and operate package seal and fill station.

 

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have the abliity to lift boxes up to 50 lbs, able to count and verify merchandise, communication skills, general reading and writing skills, able to stack and load products, follow safety rules and procedures, work overtime as required.
