Planner/Contractor Management Coordinator

Job Description

Under general supervision is responsible for planning and monitoring the activities of the assigned contractors, by scheduling and prioritizing contractor work in collaboration with site maintenance and operations supervisors.
Acts as a liaison between stakeholder and contractor. Establishes and monitors planned maintenance schedules for contractor work within assigned area. Conducts and participates in daily, weekly and monthly planning meetings with key stakeholders. Reviews, prioritizes and schedules work orders.
Works closely with Global Sourcing to ensure that contracts are in place prior to contractors beginning work, and initiates requisitions to update or establish new contracts.
Goes to contractor worksites, verification of work being done and compare against invoices received and approves for payment.
May prepare scopes of work or assist stakeholders in preparing scopes of work. Participates in bid-walks and electronic bid events.
Works in conjunction with Safety and Contractor Safety representatives to ensure safety process are in place.
Collaborates in the planning and organization for planned production shutdowns.
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of information in the maintenance management system as it related to contractor management.
Assists with departmental budgets and weekly forecasting.
Generates regular and ad hoc reports for site management, to assist with the measurement of key performance indicators.
Performs other duties as needed.
