Planner - Flow Mechanical

CITY: Billerica STATE: Massachusetts COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Production planning responsibilities including raw parts planning, forecasting, production schedule, and finished goods inventory management for Flow Mechanical Group through use of MRP/Oracle planning tools.
* Work with assemblers, buyers, planners, and manufacturing engineers to achieve the goals of the Flow Product Line Manager while maximizing Shipments to Request Date and minimizing Span.
* Coordinate customer expedite requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure the Flow Mechanical production area is maintained in a safe and hazard free condition by adhering to written policies and procedures and by following good workmanship practices.
* Assist Product Line Leader in monitoring Kronos pay records, attendance policy and disciplinary actions as required.
* Lead by example all GE initiatives - EHS, HR, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Quality.
* Monitor BOM accuracy and correct all deficiencies through Technology/Manufacturing engineering.
* Foster a continuous improvement environment to achieve plant goals and objectives by engaging team with improvement projects.
* Manage on time closure of work orders backlog to meet customer requirements.
* Oversee reconciliation of inventory on hand balances as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
* Ability to learn/master Oracle ERP system.
* Strong customer service and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills.
* Analytical & problem solving skills - results oriented.
* Ability to work in cross functional team environment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft office programs.
* Versatile and flexible approach to problem solving.
* Greenbelt Certified.
* Unyielding integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
