Plant Controller - Manufacturing & Accounting

Job Description: Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Plant Controller.  The ideal candidate will utilize strong analytical skills to lead a team of general accounting, purchasing, and payroll personnel.  He or she will also take a hands-on approach to tackle issues and get to the bottom of any problem that may arise.

 

Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting position
2 years functioning as a manager
Working background performing accounting functions within a manufacturing setting
In-depth understanding of standard accounting practices and their application in a manufacturing setting with an emphasis on cost accounting

 

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

 

Preferred Experience:

Possessing the following would be a plus in considering you for this position
Strong computer skills and MAPICS

 

Rate of Pay:

$65,000 to $70,000 Yearly

 

Hours:

1st Shift

 

Type of Employment:

Permanent, Full-Time

 

Location:

Commutable within the region of Fort Wayne, Indiana
