Plant Engineer

Chase Bros. Dairy is a family owned and operated business and was established in 1927. We process and package fluid milk, cultured milk, fruit juice and fruit drinks, as well as distribute more than 300 other dairy and dairy-related products. We have 90 employees.

We are currently looking for a ?hands-on? person to assume the position of plant engineer in a fast paced environment. The plant engineer would:
? Oversee daily equipment needs (i.e. breakdown, repair, preventative maintenance).
? Manage 5 department employees (including training and scheduling).
? Manage new construction and production line projects.
? Work closely with government inspectors and equipment operating requirements.
? Maintain efficient operations and timely production.
? Bilingual capability in Spanish and English is a plus.

You will receive on-the-job training. Knowledge and experience in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, liquid handling, ammonia refrigeration, freon refrigeration (truck and trailer units), electrical and mechanical trouble shooting and welding is very helpful.
