As an integral member of our Supply Chain team, you will:

Be responsible for the most efficient allocation of resources in the production and warehousing of product through Continuous Improvement methodology at the Carrollton, TX manufacturing site.  Direct and coordinate the activities of the distribution, production, maintenance, and materials management functions.  Accountable for labor relations and performance in all operations areas.  Accountable for decisions related to hiring, terminations and promotions or demotions within the supervisory ranks.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  Financial accountability for all operations at the Carrollton Plant, including AOP and meeting key performance indicators that are aligned with the business matrix at the Division level. Plans, evaluates and recommends overall strategies for operations in order to meet company goals and objectives.  Strategies will be developed and implemented using the Continuous Improvement methodology. Provide excellent service to the customer by meeting the customer’s needs through ensuring product availability and supplying their demands. Continuing cost and operational improvement initiatives to ensure that the Carrollton Plant that is producing and shipping the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. Development and implementation of the Carrollton Plant Capital plan. Establish the leadership and set the strategic direction for the Carrollton Plant team.  Inherent in this are the establishment of the Plant’s vision and the nurturing of a culture that achieves the Plant’s goals. Ensures all guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA/USDA standard, the Environmental Control Act and OSHA standards are in compliance.  Leads food and employee safety, sanitation and environmental processes for the plant. Provides for effective labor relations within the operations by ensuring that employment practices are fair and consistent.



Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a scientific or engineering areaPrefer 3+ years supervisory leadership in manufacturing environmentPrefer 7+ years progressive operations background in FDA regulated industriesExperience in a baking/food processing facility desiredDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of management techniques and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing
