Plant Manager/Roast Master

Start up division of a  food/beverage distribution business with proven track record and in business over 25 years.  We are in the process of entering the gourmet coffee manufacturing and distribution business and seeking a experienced Plant Manager.  Will be responsible for all activities, personnel and equipment in the roasting, processing and packaging of coffee products. 

 

Must be familiar with the operation and maintenance of equipment used in coffee roasting and packing.  Experience in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, plant layout, installation of new equipment and managing equipment maintenance program.  Also will be involved in ordering of materials used for packaging and flavors for different blended coffees.  Familiarity of Federal and state regulatory requirements and plant safety required.  Must have 5+ years experience as a Plant or Production Manager in coffee roasting and manufacturing business.
