Plant / Operations Manager

 

TransNav Technologies, (www.transnav.com), seeks a few key skilled and technical leaders to join the foundation of a growing manufacturing organization.  Our global plastics organization currently employs between 250 and 300 employees and supplies all services to our customers, from design to tooling to molding and assembly.  Preferred candidates will have a bachelor?s degree and 7+ years of experience.  If interested, please reply with your resume, a brief description of the type of position you are seeking and your long-term goals/expectations.

 

While the position will have several roles and responsibilities, all qualifying candidates are expected to fulfill the following key functions:

 Manage day-to-day operations within an injection molding and assembly plant.Coordinate plant activities through department managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Provide solution-oriented leadership to the APQP, FMEA and Non-conformance processes.Develop and participate in continual improvement activities throughout the organization.
