A leading producer of packaging products is seeking a Plastics Manufacturing Cost Reduction Engineer for a 6-8 month CONTRACT position in its Los Angeles, CA facility. The candidate must have at least ten years of plastics manufacturing experience. Knowledge of APET manufacturing, thermoforming, and extrusion is a plus. Daily responsibilities will include developing and executing an implementation plan of cost reduction in a plastics manufacturing environment. Understanding the competition's cost model is a plus. BS in Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering preferred. The company will pay per diem.
