Plastics Injection Process Technician

ITW Engineered Components, a division of Illinois Tool Works, Inc., is based in Tinley Park, IL.  ITW Engineered Components is a climate controlled manufacturing facility of injection molded engineered components and assemblies for the automotive industry.

 

We have an afternoon shift opening for a self motivated individual for the position of Plastic Injection Process Technician for our facility.

 

Candidate must possess extensive background in plastics injection molding (minimum 3 years), including mold set-up, technical processing skills, knowledge of robotics, new material sampling, preventative maintenance on tools and auxiliary equipment, operator instruction, quality checks, supervisory experience, good organizational and communication skills. Machine shop background/education a plus.

 

Candidate must have ability for overtime, weekend work, and minimal travel as required.

Manufacturing schedules are 3 shift operation/5 days per week.
