Polymer Scientist

A National client with multiple facilities has a need for a Polymer Science major with 0-3 years of experience.  We can consider a recent grad as well as someone who has been in the workforce for a few years.  Posted salary is approximate and will depend entirely upon experience.  Will be part of a 10-person product development group charged with developing/modifying/improving polymer coatings compounds.  This position will have heavy customer interface, will research new materials and make recommendations as to performance, and will also be involved with competitive analysis work to enhance performance/durability/flexibility and other characteristics.You must have excellent verbal skills as you will be routinely dealing with key customers to determine which material options will work best in their specific applications.  You will also be involved with pilot sample trials to compare material differences, document these performance characteristics in a formal report, and recommend materials.  Client requires a four-year degree in Polymer Science.  Interested parties are asked to email a Word or text resume to jim@woodsonsearch.com .
