* Operates or tends a variety of machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation, including but not limited to stampings, guillotines, letter openers, binders, print presses, etc.
* Follows production/process specifications or instructions of higher level technical personnel.
* Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
* Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
* Performs simple tests to verify production/process conditions.
* Reports any malfunction or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments, repairs and preventative maintenance to equipment.
* Maintains operating records and reports of test results.
* This sub-function can include those who supervise or manage employees involved in the execution of these activities.

* Capable of setting up and running a variety of offset printing web presses
* Must be stand and walk long hours and able to lift 60 lbs.
* Strong communication skills, mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude
* Exhibits strong initiatives and goal oriented
* Follows safe operating procedures
* Teaches patiently, thoroughly and effectively with adjustments for the individual needs of each trainee
