We currently have an opening in our Vaccines QC - Chemistry & Biochemistry Services Department for a(n) Principal Project Manager I, at our Pearl River, NY facility (located on the Rockland County, NY/Bergen County, NJ border).

As a Principal Project Manager I, you will be recognized as a leader, provide major technical direction in coordinating and managing projects throughout the Project Lifecycle. This includes facilitating the development of the project definition and scope, deliverables, risk assessment, milestones, project tracking, status reporting and presentations at leadership team meetings. You will support the project team by arranging meetings, developing agendas, team meeting minutes and issue resolution. You will facilitate dialogue and effective teamwork between project teams and functional area work teams. You will train project team members on new project management and related SOPs. You will coordinate communication across sites, as warranted by project scope. You will have demonstrated the ability to sustain highly productive independent projects/studies/ investigations/reviews over several years. You will be increasing responsibility within a program, providing day-to-day direction on certain projects and contributing to the identification and planning of broader objectives. You will have the ability to assess the underlying technical and conceptual risks of a project and to apply innovative approaches. You will continue to expand both expertise and breadth of knowledge. You will apply both to the evaluation and development of new project proposals. You will be recognized as a leader, giving major technical direction. You will also be recognized department-wide for the quality of contributions.

You must have a BS degree with 15+ years of experience, or an MS degree with 12+ years of experience or a PhD with 5+ years of experience. A PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology with 5+ years experience is preferred. You must have a strong technical background in vaccine/biologics development. Furthermore, you must have strong organizational and project management skills.
