Proactive Service Trainer

Our floor mats, which can be customized with corporate logos, check dirt at the door while reducing slips, falls and housekeeping costs. We handle all of the details so our customers don't have to.
Cintas is currently looking for a Proactive Service Trainer to work directly with a team of Service Sales Representatives (Route Drivers), both on route and in-house. This includes driving a company vehicle to customer sites and riding along observing the Service Sales Representatives to determine sales and training opportunities. Primary duties involve hands-on training among the Service Sales Representatives to increase internal sales to customers, as well as assisting in regular route responsibilities such as lifting, carrying and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts. Sales involve products from our catalog line, including but not limited to: custom logo shirts and pants, work boots, outerwear, hats, and gloves, as well as facility services products such as floor mats, dust mops, hand soaps, air fresheners and toilet tissue. Proactive Service Trainers are responsible for exceeding rental sales projections by driving Service Sales Representative catalog sales averages, managing the administration of the catalog Sales Department, building new direct sale customer bases, assisting in developing the sales skills of Service Sales Representatives, and continuing to improve the way catalog sales are promoted, ordered, billed, and delivered. In addition, they promote a positive and energetic attitude in the operation through sales coaching, and by training all service partners on marketing the catalog and its products.
Salary is commensurate with background, qualifications and experience.
A valid driver's license
Previous customer service experience, preferably in an industrial or service industry, preferred
Previous training or instructor experience, preferred
Previous experience working in a sales-related role, preferred
A high school diploma or GED preferred
Availability to start within two weeks after offer made/accepted, preferred
