Process Engineer - OEM

Chromalloy New York, a leader in repair and coating of gas turbine components for the aerospace industry and heavy industrial turbines, has the following opportunity in Rockland County, NY.

All positions require the ability to read and write English and follow verbal and written directions.

 

OEM Process Engineer -

 

This position will be responsible for

? process development & maintenance

? interfacing between manufacturing OEM customers & process / product engineers

? providing daily engineering support to production operations

? providing support to the Process / Product Engineer

? working with the V.P. of Marketing to meet customer requirements

? supervising process qualifications.

? communicating internally on process issues.

? interfacing with Customers/Suppliers as necessary to complete tasks.

? identifying and implementing Process Improvements.

? Utilizing Six Sigma & lean manufacturing techniques to optimize processes & reduce process cost

Qualifications Required: 

Bachelor's Degree required.

BS in Physics, Materials or Chemical engineering, MS or PhD a plus.

2 to 10 years of experience in aerospace, coating or semiconductor industry preferred

Knowledge of chemical, thermal spray, materials or mechanical engineering a plus.
