Reads, interprets, understands and follows written as well as verbal instructions
Follows appropriate documentation requirements to ensure adherence to GMP and company guidelines
Weighs and loads ingredients into equipment
Starts equipment and makes adjustments as needed to aid in blending, densifying or otherwise processingmaterial.
Operates equipment until mixture reaches desired consistency, and unloads material into appropriatecontainer, conveyor, or mill.
Operates auxiliary equipment to break up, grind, dry mix, or otherwise prepare material for finalprocessing.
Trouble-shoot minor mechanical problems and perform minor periodic maintenance (E.g., lube bearings).
Prepare packing materials ( drums, pails, boxes, bags, totes), affix labels and stack or stage, containers for transfer.
Draw samples for testing per product specifications. Confer with lab technicians and supervisors and make adjustments to the process to bring the product within specification.
Complete necessary paperwork or data entry for production/lab records and inventory levels.
Monitor supplies and materials inventory and report shortages to be reordered.
Adherence to GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory and company rules and regulations as required
Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Performs all other duties as assigned. Reports to work on time and works overtime as required and if required to travel for business: maintains a valid driver's license and good personal credit, making them eligible for a credit card.
Travel is required 5% of the time for this position, annually.

High school diploma or GED, and 1 to 3 years related production experience, additional years of education and experience may be substituted for each other, as determined by Human Resources. Ability to read, write and speak English is a requirement of this position.
