Process Technical Advisor

CITY: Erie STATE: Pennsylvania COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Provide leadership and direction to 2nd shift Compartment Assembly and Test areas.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting and meeting production schedules, driving productivity, and quality initiatives, and managing the areas within budget guidelines and controls.
2. Must be able to determine the proper manufacturing processes for assembly, wiring, inspection, and test of required compartments.
3. Support all initiatives of compartment assembly areas, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
4. Encourage and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BS Engineering, Technology, Operations Research, plus 2+ years manufacturing experience.

Able to work 2nd shift.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office & CAS applications.

Ability to work in shop environment.

Desired:

Demonstrated supply chain process and product knowledge.

Excellent leadership skills and can effectively influence and motivate others.

Strong negotiation skills and able to lead by example.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Green Belt Certification a plus.
