Product Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the creation and management of the following:

- All strategic and tactical product-marketing activities for the mailing systems product lines

- Revenue and Market Share Growth and Gross Margin profitability for each line of product

- Continuous assessment of Market Place, Competitive Landscape and Customer Needs to ensure best fit solutions for Neopost products

- Lead the way in partnering with Sales to develop the right mix of pricing, promotions, competitive and selling tools

- Manage new product launch plans and activities with Group marketing and internal support teams such as Product Engineering, Marketing Operations, Order Entry, and Supply Chain, Service

- Drive all aspects of product life cycle management process

- Maintain and adapt pricing model and analyze profitability of product line

- Create and maintain all information as relates to Mailing Systems for Sales Automation, Ordering System, Marketing Encyclopedia

- Create product-line specific marketing plans that maximize industry conditions and meet/exceed budget/revenue goals

- Position products and message to insure the right mixes of unit, gross margin and revenue performance

- Create and maintain appropriate sales literature and advertising materials

- Support the creation of appropriate product manuals and promotional materials

- Continuously perform market and competitive analysis for all assigned product lines, publish results to the sales force, build and propose response plans.

- Support the sales force through customer meetings, sales training programs and curriculum for the sales force members

- Contribute to new product development by capturing emerging needs and providing feedback to R&D and Strategic Marketing

- Develop relationships with private-label accounts to identify new opportunities.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing; Masters or MBA degree a plus

- 5-10 years business experience, minimum 2-4 years direct Product Marketing Management experience(which must be recent), preferably in the mailing industry or a related industry.

- Previous product marketing experience in one or more of the following industries is desirable: Mailing, office equipment, computer peripherals, printers, document automation, software

- Demonstrated ability to learn and master technical product functionality and communicate their essential business values to sales and channels.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to establish business and financial justifications for product initiatives

- Proven ability to create, document and execute marketing plans

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Resourceful, roll-up the sleeves attitude, detail-oriented. The successful candidate must have the initiative to resolve problems and seek answers independently and will enthusiastically persist until goals are achieved

- Experience driving projects in complex cross-functional team environment

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, parallel projects to deadline

- Proven ability to lead the Product Management process from concept through launch

- Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
