Production Artist/Designer 062A1-18

Create electronic and print communications utilizing existing brand standards and graphic elements. Responsibilities include production of internal and external newsletters and the creation/design of small ads and various print collateral including direct mail, flyers and other promotional pieces.

 REQUIREMENTS:

Self-motivated, team-oriented individual able to work in a fast-paced environment; juggle multiple projects; create eye-catching, strategic designs from concept through production; and perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

 
Bachelors Degree or AA/Certificate in Graphics Design from Accredited Graphics Design School
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Efficient multi-tasking abilities, well organized, excellent follow through, detail-oriented and ability to design creative collateral with little supervision/direction
Training and experience in all aspects of graphics design
Ability to prepare final digital files for print
Ability to work in a team environment to develop creative ideas that meet company objectives
Must be creative and able to effectively communicate ideas in writing, visually and verbally
Must be open to new ideas and influences and quick to react to design needs of the department and company
Ability to work in a team environment to receive ideas, direction and constructive criticisms and required changes to design work in order to develop collateral that meets the overall needs/objectives of the company
Problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and under pressure
Self-disciplined and good time management skills to meet deadlines and production schedules
Experience in web design and in print production a plus
Experience and/or training in Flash, Illustrator and HTML desired
Basic copywriting experience a plus but not required
