Production Assembler / Product Picker / Light Machinist

TITLE: Production Assembler / Product Picker / Light Machinist 

Directly Reports to Production Manager

COMPANY: Fishman Corporation, founded in 1958, is a manufacturer of fluid assembly equipment servicing manufacturers such as Intel, Bose, Boeing and Duracell. Fishman is an aggressive, customer focused, product developer utilizing its flexibility to create unique products to exploit assembly market niches. Fishman has recently brought a revolutionary patented assembly machine to market that is changing the way that manufacturers dispense. Thus, the technical support needed to develop the system, support sales, answer customer application questions and work with design engineers has created the need for this position. Fishman is under 10 million in sales per year, sells via worldwide distribution with a staff of approximately 20.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Assemble various products per the daily schedule.  Products include small machines, bagged product and machined parts. Assist the production team in operating and maintaining automated assembly machines. Assist the inspection team in clearing products through quality assurance. Assist the kitting team in preparing all products for assembly. All duties that may be assigned by management.

 



 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have a high school diploma.

2. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff at Fishman.

3. Ability to work as a team player as well as independently while exercising initiative, judgment, and discretion.

4. Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills required.

6. Must be a quick learner.

7. Must be flexible with an understanding of how small businesses work.8. Experience with screw machines, soldering and abrasive saws are a huge plus!
