Production Associate - 2nd Shift Hand Assembly

CITY: Milwaukee STATE: Wisconsin COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Prep, mask and/or tape components and circuit boards as required per process aides.
* Assemble and solder thru hole components to circuit boards.
* Perform various other tasks requiring knowledge of assembly prints, bills of materials and process aid sheets.
* Work with team lead, manager, and engineer to improve the manufacturing process, safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum of one year experience working in a manufacturing environment using materials, tools, and equipment to perform work tasks.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate with both co-workers and management.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
* Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions in a manufacturing environment.
* Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
* Must be willing to take a drug test.
* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.

Desired:
* Minimum of one year of Lean Manufacturing experience including participation in Action Work Outs.
* Ability to work with computers including navigation and use of IT tools such as Fusion, Agile, eLibrary, Oracle, eDHR.
* Solder Certification through Level 3.
* Minimum of one year of experience working with assembly prints, Bills of Materials, and process aid sheets.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
* Broad skill set and willingness to support production in other departments.
* Adaptable and Flexible: being open to change and able to respond to new information, volume changes or updated priorities as they present themselves.
* Demonstrates initiative and desire to improve manufacturing processes.
