Production Coordinator for Composite Tanks

Flexcon Industries, a leading manufacturer of pressurized expansion and storage tanks is looking for an experienced First Shift Production Coordinator to join our expanding team.

 

Job Description:

Flexcon Industries is looking for a "hands on" Production Coordinator for our Composite Tank Manufacturing Line.  The qualified individual will direct and coordinate all production activities on the line and work with Production Planning and Customer Service to achieve our shipping objectives.  In addition, the individual will also assist the Production Supervisor with the coordination of work flow on our other tank production lines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

-  Maintain/execute the production schedule and work plans for each stage of the production process.

-  Interact/communicate with Customer Service and Sales.

-  Maintain all production reports and communicate to Supervisor.

-  Monitor In-process Inspection paperwork.

-  Control product quality.

-  Maintain inventory accuracy.

-  Develop and implement employee training, including safety and cross-training.

-  Assist in other departments as needed.

-  Assist/work at stations within the production line as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

-  High School diploma, Associates Degree preferred and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high volume production environment.

-  Good written and verbal communication skills.

-  Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.

-  Understanding of Continuous Improvement Techniques.

-  Experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment is desirable.

-  Experience operating within ISO 9001:2000 Guidelines.
