PRODUCTION GROUP LEADER 2ND SHIFT

 SUMMARY  

The Group Leader will be responsible for coordinating the Production Team to continuously improve cost, quality, customer service, and safety.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Establish line rates and manning to meet the goals of the PSI process.Train the production team to meet customer demand and participate in the continuous improvement process.Lead safety awareness and implement new and innovative techniques to assure a safe working environment. Ensure adherence to Standard work documents.Responsible for insuring production of a quality product on time and in a safe manner.Ensure accurate data is gathered and entered for key measurements to drive continuous improvement process. Ensure that the team operates consistently within the policies and procedures of Pentair Pool Products and Pentair Corporation.Coach employees for career/talent developmentEnsure inventory accuracyEnsure Teams are meeting production requirement.

 

QUALIFICATIONSPlanning & SchedulingPersonnel managementPrioritization & delegation

 

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma.  College degree or experience equivalent.5-7 years manufacturing management.Operations ManagementLean Environment & Implementation experience a plus

 

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to communicate effectively in the English language.  Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus
