Production Lead/ Supervisor

We are seeking a qualified candidate that can:
Coordinates manpower and production
Ensures safe working conditions and practices safe working behaviors at all times.
Responsible for accuracy of the products based on materials used.  (Process Manager software)
Will be required to generate pick lists and labels.
Responsible for maintaining the metrics database including FPY and labor efficiency for all work cells and equipment.
Responsible for continuous improvement in the areas of labor efficiency, capacity, FYP, and pack out rates.
Self directed and capable of organizing and maintaining work cells to meet customer orders.
Capable of identifying new equipment and/or process to improve efficiencies.
Responsible for directing work of  material handlers and  Leads as needed and building a high performance culture.
Will prepare sample orders as necessary
Will perform the necessary training of  staff.
Will possess a forklift license and be required to operate both types of vehicles  Stand-up and Sit down units.
Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.  Pallets and full cartons are typically in this weight range.
At times may be required to assist in the packaging of materials which entails filing, stacking, and labeling cartons of product.  Bending, lifting, twisting etc. is a regular occurrence.
Responsible for mechanical troubleshooting of machinery
Responsible for setting up the machinery  and adjusting as necessary.  This requires an intimate knowledge of the machinery and a certain amount of dexterity..
Responsible for maintaining clean and organized work areas at the  and enforcing good housekeeping practices.

 

Requirements

 
Knowledge of SAP and other business related software.
