Production Manager - 3rd shift
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all activities in an assigned production, warehouse, materials or other factory cell. These include but are not limited to: effectively utilize available resources to produce a high quality product; implement and manage procedures to assure a safe work environment; provide the planning, training and leadership necessary to achieve departmental and personal objectives; seek continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility such as productivity, communication and associate development; promote teamwork, self discipline and accountability; maintain ?tour ready? appearance.
EDUCATION:
Associates or Bachelors Degree or demonstrated equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years in a manufacturing leadership or coordinatine
experience
Effective knowledge and application of ?lean? manufacturing concepts
Effective team player and builder
Good communication skills for individual and group interface
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Must be able to stand, lift, push, pull up to 50lbs., reach and grasp
Must possess eye/hand coordination
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when necessary
Ability to:
Operate a PC to access data and information
Work in a production, warehouse or other factory environment
Work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts
Lead, direct and motivate others
Eembrace and manage change
