Armstrong World Industries is currently seeking a Production Manager to support our wood manufacturing Plant in Oneida, Tennessee.  If you are a manufacturing professional who understands what it takes to effectively lead and supervise multiple areas on multiple shifts in the area of Production, we might have the right opportunity for your next career step!

 

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will provide leadership in the areas of employee safety, quality assurance, production scheduling and process improvement initiatives.  Armstrong consistently seeks to enhance our products, optimize performance and production standards.  If you practice these principles, have a proven track record of implementing multiple process improvements in the areas of cost reductions and occupational safety, we would like to hear from you! 

 

A BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment are required.  Project management skills and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and/or Kaizen are assumed.
