Production Manager - Molding
JOB PURPOSE:
To lead the manufacturing processes at an EPP/EPS shape molding facility, producing household appliance Packaging and OEM Finished Goods.
DUTIES:
* Ensures operation of manufacturing processes on a 24/7 basis, leading process troubleshooting.
* Develops and completes production plans by establishing priorities, scheduling activities and employees, monitoring progress, revising schedules and resolving problems.
* Maintains manufacturing staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. Proficient in Microsoft Office & AS 400-typ software.
* Contributes to team success with a small, flexible leadership group.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience at EPS/EPP shape molding very important. Promotes Process Improvement, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality and Safety, Production Planning and Supply Management.
A successful candidate will be able to answer YES to the following questions:
1: Able to operate and troubleshoot EPS/EPP shape molding equipment.
2: 2 - 5 years experience in a Supervisory/Leadership role in a 24/7 J-I-T manufacturing facility.
3: Proven ability to coach and develop subordinates.
4: Able to maintain a J-I-T production plan to meet Customer demands.
