USG Corporation is looking for Full Time and summer help* Operators for its Auburn, Washington plant. There are openings in the following departments:

 

Joint Treatment

Joint Treatment manufacturing and packaging.  Operate forklift, mixing equipment, and packaging equipment to mix and package wet and dry joint treatment products used in the construction industry.  Regular work schedule is 36-48 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, fixed shifts.

 

Cornerbead

Metal Roll Forming Operator (Paper-faced cornerbead).  Responsible for the safe set-up, adjustment, and operation of metal roll-forming equipment to form thin metal to a desired shape, glue paper to the metal, then package finished paper-faced cornerbead into cardboard boxes.  Other duties include safe operation of heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, roll-forming equipment, and hand tools.  Regular work schedule is 8 hours per day, fixed shift.

 

*Summer Help ? These positions are for the summer months only.  Only students going to college or are all ready attending should apply for this position.  Since this position is for the summer only, no benefits are offered.

 

Starting pay is $12.64/hour and there is lots of room for advancement.  In addition to an hourly wage, employees are also paid a shift differential which range from $.25 to $2.00 an hour. Qualified applicants will be given a conditional offer based upon them successfully passing a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
