Production Planner-Scheduler

 

Standard Filter Corporation, a leading manufacturer of aftermarket filters for the air pollution control industry, is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to bring its computerized manufacturing scheduling module online with its already established ERP system. Ideal candidate would have experience in start-up of Production Planning/Scheduling modules on ERP/MRP systems. Work experience accepted but a BS degree is highly desired along with APICS certification. Experience with database tools such as MS Access, SQL and Crystal Reports desired. Spanish-speaking a big plus.









Candidate should be capable of:

?Effectively bring up to speed and utilize the company?s manufacturing scheduling module of the currently deployed ERP software (Vista by Epicor, Version 4.4)

?Plan, coordinate, schedule and track the build of filters through manufacturing

?Establish delivery schedules based on evaluation of labor and material factors

?Review and revise production schedules as required for expedite orders

?Review material requirements and coordinate schedule of materials with purchasing as required to support manufacturing schedules

?Assist in monitoring inventory levels to ensure adequate supply chain

?Coordinate labor requirements with shop floor leads

?Attend weekly production meetings

?Previous experience working in an ERP/MRP environment

?Proficiency with MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel

?Must be detail oriented, organized, and a self-starter
