Production Scheduler

The Production Scheduler is primarily responsible for the following:

>>Prepares comprehensive schedule for each in-house job operation to be completed, matching plant capability for all jobs requiring prepress, printing, binding, fulfillment and shipping - Coordinates job requirements with plant staff, equipment and material available.
>>Maintains constant knowledge of all jobs in manufacturing.
>>Monitors committed schedules.
>>Coordinates Platemaker's workflow priorities based on press needs.
>>Maintains constant and effective communciation with relevent staff and conducts two production meetings daily with all plant and production managers and Team Leaders to enhance production, reduce costs, and control overtime.

Qualifications
Qualified candidate will have two to three years of experience in a commercial print manufacturing environment. Must be an effective communicator with excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes.
