PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

 

 

Harvey Cement Products is a growing manufacturer of concrete masonry products.  We are seeking an individual to join our company as a Production Supervisor.  The ideal candidate will have broad based manufacturing experience and be comfortable in a supervisory role.

 

Overview

 

The Production Supervisor is primarily responsible for the day to day management of a group of hourly employees engaged in the manufacture of cast stone. This position plays a vital role in training, quality and safety.  Responsibilities would include:

 Daily work flow planning. Maximizing manufacturing efficiencies and employee productivity. Identifying problems and initiating corrective action. Reporting/administrative. Implementation of policies and procedures. Safety. Product quality. Employee training. Housekeeping.

 

Requirements

 3 years manufacturing supervisory experience that included extensive employee interaction. Self starter, motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives. Mechanically inclined. Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).  Some college (preferred).
