This company currently has a direct hire opening for a results oriented Operations/Production Supervisor with experience working in a Consumer Products (nutrition, Hygiene or Personal Care) manufacturing  environment who is looking for challenges and career advancement within a "team emphasized" environment.

 

Skills/knowledge requirements:

 

~ A SEASONED/INNOVATIVE production supervisor

with a Bachelor'sDegree, ( preferably manufacturing related 

discipline)

~ 2-5 years production supervisor experience within a Consumer

products, manufacturing environment.

~ A positive attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced

environment.

~ Excellent leadership skills, and change management skills.

Hours: First Shift Position - Average 8 hours a day.

 

Function Responsibilities:

~ Lead, oversee and direct 70 production workers' activities in a team

environment to increase operating efficiencies. 

Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, job skill training, TPM, 

GMP. projects with

focus on daily, weekly and long term performance.

~ Work with other Operation Supervisors to ensure the adherence of

Manufacturing schedules, output reliability, budgets, and quality

requirements while maintaining personnel safety and environmental

policies.

~ Responsible for overseeing and resolving day-to-day packaging and

processing equipment problems using root cause analysis in order

to maximize production efficiency and reliability.

 

Requirements:

 

~ Must be highly proficient with advanced Microsoft Word, Excel,

PowerPoint, performance reporting, creating spreadsheets - Kronos

SAP-DLxp.

~ Excellent interpersonal, leadership and teambuilding skills

~ Great analytical thinking and effective problem solving skills

~ Knowledge of OSHA Safety standards and procedures and GMP's
