Production Supervisor for Manufacturing Facility in Norwalk, OH

Immediate Position for Production Supervisor

 
 Ability to supervise 25 to 30 employees in manufacturing environment.
2 to 5 years experience
MUST have experience working in an union  environment
Inspect products to verify conformance to specs and directs setup and adjustment of machine
Reviews production schedules and estimates employee hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Interprets company policies to employees and enforces safety regulations.
Interprets specs, blueprints, and job orders to employees,, and assigns duties.
Establishes or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggest plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals.
Maintain time and production records
Estimates, requisitions and inspects materials.
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Performs activities of employees supervised to understand job requirements.
Responsible for departmental environmental management.
