Production Supervisors - 2nd Shift

 

At Coroplast, Inc. our business continues to grow and so does our need to add strong and experienced supervisors.

 

We presently have an immediate need for two (2) 2nd shift supervisors. The selected candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shift. They must be computer literate, self-motivated and hard working, and have hands-on working experience in production in a manufacturing environment of consumer goods or corrugated plastics. Candidate must have a steady work history, good references and pass criminal background check and drug screen.



 

The selected candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shift. Candidates will also be required to:



? Monitor machines and supervise personnel

? Perform tests to ensure quality standards

? Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely

? Expedite quality concerns to line personnel; working with maintenance personnel as needed

? Keep data regarding daily production, quality standards, and safety concerns

? Coordinate and ensure completion of plant wide safety projects

 Additional requirements include:

 

 1. A minimum of two-year college degree

2. Minimum of 3 years experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment, specifically in plastics or consumer environment.

3. Experience working in a union environment.

4. Strong safety orientation.

5. Ability to train and develop hourly team members.

6. Bilingual skills, but not mandatory
