We are looking for a strong leader who will help us achieve our vision and that has at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supervising others. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Production Supervisor who will be responsible for managing all aspects of our 2nd shift. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you will directly manage a workforce of 7+ hourly employees to reach maximum production, improve processes and implement required changes while maintaining the integrity of our quality and safety programs. This is a hands-on position. We desire a self-starter who can interact with other departments (quality assurance, maintenance and human resources) using experience, direction, and guidance. Your training abilities, communication skills and willingness to put in the time required will be of the utmost importance to your success.

Responsibilities & Duties
? Supervise, direct and develop production associates.
? Perform initial training and sustain ongoing training of associates.
? Develop skill levels of team members.
? Oversee facilities, production, product movement and inventory.
? Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
? Analyze problems, create effective resolutions, communicate and implement resolutions.
? Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities while maintaining optimum utilization of human resources and equipment.
? Organize jobs as to manage, develop and create a positive environment for production staff.
? Identify and control hazards and ensure safety protocols are followed.
? Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
? Maintain proper record keeping.
? Generate enthusiasm in the workforce with strong leadership and communication skills.
? Coordinate and lead shift meetings.
? Review employees and administer training and disciplinary directives according to company policies.
Minimum Requirements Include:
? Excellent people skills with the ability to interact and communicate well with a variety of people, both one-on-one and in groups, at all levels of education.
? Effective written and verbal communication skills.
? Minimum of 3 years manufacturing and supervisory experience directing a minimum of 5 employees.
? Exceptional problem solving and organizational skills and demonstrated leadership.
? Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
? Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion, establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of employees.
? Basic knowledge and proficiency in the application and use of common desktop software.
? Willingness to work the night shift.
