Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Duties are:
?Monitor employee attendance and break times. Immediately escalate any issues to the Manufacturing Group Leader.
?Provide objective input to supervisors regarding employee performance.
?Make recommendations to the Manufacturing Group Leader regarding labor utilization.
?Create a rotation sheet for employees to follow (bi-weekly).
?Motivate the teams to achieve production goals.
?Cross-train employees within the lines.
?Create and maintain training records to meet process requirements.
?Support company policies and encourage other employees to do the same (ie. Attendance).
?Ensure that lines have enough raw materials to meet daily production requirements.
?Inform the supervisors of any employee issues or major machine down time.
?Update data: (KIP, graphs, certification training).
?Hold daily standup meetings with the group (regarding the progress for: schedule, rejects and current events)
?Sets example for company programs (ie. 5 S)
?Train employees on new or updated procedures as required.
?Perform back-up supervisory tasks in absence of Manufacturing Group Leader.

Requirements

Requirements for Production Team Lead:
?Effective spoken and written English language skills.
?Must be able to communicate with groups of 10 or more.
?Ability to communicate with salaried employees and management.
?Mastery of inventory control procedures (ie. SAP).
?Demonstrated ability to perform Production Lead responsibilities on multiple lines
?Must have experienced 2+ years in production lead or leadership skills
?Able to lead a team of 10+ people to deliver quality, schedule, and performance
?Possess computer literacy necessary to track and enter production data.
?Sustained performance level of excellent or better at Assembler 2 or Assembler 3 level
