Production Technician

CITY: Salt Lake City STATE: Utah COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Test productions circuit board for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications. Analyze problems to component level and make necessary repairs.

Test production assemblies and subassemblies for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications. Locate and correct problems to the component level.

Test production systems for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications. Performs problem analysis and repair to assure compliance with test specifications.

Use standard and specialized equipment fixtures and techniques to execute the above duties as specified by the applicable test document.

Interfaces with other departments in the execution of duties to ensure the orderly flow of material and information.

Work with test engineering to develop new procedures and fixtures.

Operates computer equipment to create and use floppy disks. Assures correct function of computer equipment.

May be asked by area supervisor to train technicians of equal or lower band of similar duties.

Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.


Qualifications/Requirements:
Associates Degree in Electronics or related technical field

Demonstrate basic reading, writing and mathematics proficiency

Speak and understand basic English

Demonstrate ability to read complex instructions

Ability to communicate well and work with others

Desired:
Basic knowledge of manufacturing systems related to production, quality and inventory control

4+ years of related production experience
