Production Welders
Production Welders Description: Volt Services Group has partnered with a leading manufacturer and provider of compressed air treatment equipment and services seeking qualified Production Welders. The ideal candidates will have proven proficiency in MIG and TIG production welding with a particular emphasis on pressure retaining systems, strong mechanical aptitude including setup, layout and blueprint reading skills and the ability to perform quality workmanship.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Cut and prepare materials for welding process, using bandsaw and oxyfuel cutting torch, grinder, beveller, etc.
Interface with other welders for part requirements.
Follow production list of materials, drawings, bill of materials and other instructions to produce quality parts by due dates.
Perform all welds required on ASME pressure vessels.
Ability to perform own fit up and layout.
Meet and exceed safety, quality, and production standards levels.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs. Experience with overhead cranes is a plus. Experience in MIG and TIG welding related processes. Ability to read and apply blueprint data that yields product which conforms to quality requirements.
