Production and Fulfillment Manager for Exciting and Growing Coffee Roasting Company

Dillanos Coffee Roasters is looking for a driven and organized individual to oversee its Roasting, Packaging and Fulfillment Departments.  Management experience, communication skills, technical skills, mechanical skills and an understanding of lean manufacturing are a must.  Ideal applicants will also have high-level skills with MS excel, MS Windows, MS Access, QuickBooks, Crystal Reports and project management.  The ability to effectively communicate and motivate others is key.

 

The Production Manager will oversee the management of a production staff of 14 with three direct report supervisors.  Some of the notable responsibilities are the following:

 Schedule all aspects of production to most efficiently meet customer required ship dates.Exercise Lean Manufacturing Practices within the departments.Oversee in-process and finished product quality control and food safety audits.   Teach, train and practice all food safety and safe workplace programs.Purchase supplies and raw materials and maintaining vendor relationships.Assist the VP of Operations with planning and implementation of process expansions.Maintain a clean, organized and ?Tour Ready? environment.
