Our client, located in Erie, PA has an immediate, contract opportunity for experienced Program Managers (2 positions available).

Job Description:
Job Summary: Program manager is primarily involved in leading the multi-functional teams in executing locomotive, modernization or kit orders. Essential Functions: Lead multi-functional business team in planning and executing major locomotive requisitions programs. Develop and manage fully integrated program schedules, budgets, inter-organizational interfaces and resource allocation. Participate in the development/delivery of customer locomotive requirements and validation. Ensures customer requirements, expectations and GE's business needs are met for the products prior to shipment and at time of shipment. This will include ensuring that pre-established standards for quality, engineering, cost, reliability and safety are met for contract deliverables and production as well. Ensures that the key business milestones (Tollgates) are signed off after order receipt. This will include ensuring preparation of all paperwork is completed.

Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field including engineering, chemistry, physics, etc. or minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineering role or 6 years of direct experience in shop operations or production control. -Proven program management experience -Minimum of 2 years experience leading cross-functional teams.
