PROGRAM MANAGER ? Software Licensing & Contracts

Omnicell is looking for a Program Manager of Software products and release processes in Manufacturing. This position requires driving multiple cross-functional projects. You will evaluate alternatives and select the solution to balance business and financial needs with customer satisfaction. You will propose/provide input to define methods, standards, policies and procedures. You will help to build infrastructure within Manufacturing/Operations by initiating strategic programs to solve more tactical problems.

Responsibilities
? Serve as the primary interface to drive introductions of new software products from Engineering into Manufacturing. Manage schedule and priorities in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering and coordinate efforts with Order Fulfillment and Quality.
? Support, manage, and administer contracts for software and application services and products across Omnicell?s product portfolio.
? Define and facilitate communication between Omnicell and its suppliers in order to deliver software and applications according to plan, and to ensure licensing compliance. This will require coordination with Legal, Purchasing, Marketing, Engineering and Product Introduction teams to ensure licensing compliance for all Omnicell software products.
? Interpret and negotiate software licensing contracts to garner the best overall product margin for Omnicell.
? Manage database system for tracking and issuing embedded licenses to customers. Integrate database with Marketing and Manufacturing release processes, Order Fulfillment, and customer relationship management systems for proper license tracking.
? Responsible for royalty reporting where applicable.



Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field or equivalent experience in project management.
? Experience with contract negotiations, royalty agreements, and materials/purchasing with a strong financial background. . Microsoft certification is a plus.
? Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in program administration/management and manufacturing/operations processes.
? Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams through software product introductions
? Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
? Executive interaction will be part of the responsibilities.
? Analytical problem solving.
? Polished interpersonal and team building skills are a must.
? Clearly demonstrated track record of conflict resolution and ability to breakthrough organizational barriers to solve problems. Decision making, influencing, meeting deadlines, global vision & planning are core elements of success.
